Course Overview:

BC102 - Power BI Bootcamp is an intensive training program designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization. The course will be taught by a Power BI certified professional and will cover fundamental to advanced topics, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of Power BI's capabilities.

Overview of Power BI and its features

Installation and setup

Connecting to data sources


Data Transformation and Modeling (8 hours):

Data loading and transformation using Power Query

Creating relationships between tables

Data modeling best practices


Data Visualization Basics (8 hours):

Creating basic visualizations (e.g., bar charts, line charts)

Formatting and customizing visuals

Using filters and slicers


Advanced Data Visualization (6 hours):

Creating advanced visualizations (e.g., maps, custom visuals)

Using bookmarks and report themes

Interactive report design


Data Analysis with DAX (18 hours):

Introduction to Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)

Calculated columns and measures

Time intelligence functions


Advanced Power BI Features (10 hours):

Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop integration

Data security and sharing

Advanced analytics with Power BI


Power BI Projects and Case Studies (20 hours):

Real-world projects using Power BI
